Hi. I’m Sally, and my artistic motto is simple/profound.
Sometimes in the simplest of moments - a brief connection with a stranger or a moment of pause to breathe during a hike, or an attention-catching synchronicity during a speedy commute through London - can come with profound impact: deep-rooted epiphanies, extraordinary events found in the simplest of decisions, intense moments of clarity.
My aim as an artist is to create these simple/profound experiences by focussing on connection and truth and, in practice, precision and embodiment.
My artistic passion has whisked me around the world from Chicago to Italy, Ireland to Russia, Indonesia to London. In these epic adventures, I have found some of the most life-affirming moments in the simple interactions asking a grandma for directions in broken Italian, a moment of peace watching a crane’s stillness on a lake, or the magic that happens when you say ‘yes’ despite being afraid.
Myriad moments of connection enlightened me to understand that the ‘invisible thread’ - whether between two actors, the collective creative team, or a cast and their audience - is where everything expands, even a little, and magic happens.
So I guess that means I am a magic maker. My calling is to empower both the people who work with me in creating art and those who come into contact with the art. This, I hope, fosters belief in hope, compassion, change, and in something greater - and perhaps that is Love.

Writing
Creative writing in the form of plays and screenplays, but also website copy, email blasts, and marketing posts, have all been part of my repertoire. Much of my writing experience has been related to advertising and marketing cultural events, including theatre. I am adept at shifting my voice for the audience. My favourite piece of writing is Ohra, a bizarre, comedic play about a young woman processing her mental health, which I co-wrote with Savannah Betts.
Empowering Equity & Inclusion
Disabiliity Access
Using keen administrative and project management skills, I empower creatives with disabilities of various natures to participate to their fullest extent across performing arts industries.
Historically, I’ve worked as a TA for high school students with disabilities after participating as an able-bodied assistant in accessible physical education classes in school. Now, I provide disability access support for artists in the UK.
