My name is Sally, and my passion for theatre has whisked me around the world from Chicago to Italy, London to Russia, Ireland to Indonesia. With a knack for physical theatre, Shakespeare, and musicals, as a director, I strive for moments of synchronicity, beauty, inspiration, and laughter. I have an insatiable desire to learn about other cultures and explore the ways in which we are all connected.
Originally trained as a dancer, I earned an MFA with Distinction in Theatre Directing from East 15 and a BA in Drama from Washington University in St. Louis. I've done further training in Lecoq, Meisner, and Shakespeare.

I am a soothsayer.
The word soothsayer in Middle English meant “truth teller”. In modern days, it may conjure images of crystal balls or possessed hippies, and it’s defined as “the ability to foresee the future”. While I don’t purport to knowing what the future may hold, my goal as an artist is to reveal truths, and create a declaration of intention for the future.
Through my art, I awaken, empower, and inspire. I tell stories that are relevant to the world’s most pressing issues like love and vulnerability. My ideal is for the audience to leave a bit more in solidarity with each other...a bit changed, a bit more ready to make change.
Grazie mille for visiting my page, and have a really lovely day!
