"Director Mike Tweddle and his Assistant Sally Beck Wippman have imbued the play with a passion and force, which is irrepressible and captivating." - Kevin McGough, The Fix
"Sally’s knowledge of ‘the world’, the cultures in play, the mannerisms, really helped to boost and colour the show’s authenticity."
"I witnessed [Sally's] keen working relationship with the director...Her take on the story supported the director's vision while providing her own complimentary viewpoint."

A "fascinating and provocative exploration of a complicated man and the unravelling of his world". A View From the Bridge was part of Tobacco Factory Theatre's inaugural Factory Company season, featuring an ensemble of artists, as well as linked a community company taking on small roles in the production through the Get On Stage program. Check out my blog post for TFT on the importance of this unique community engagement opportunity.
This show was an integral transition point in my career as I was allowed the opportunity to have an active role in helping shape physical motifs onstage, contribute ideas toward the vision of the play, and rehearse and tech-in 5 mini-community ensembles throughout the run.
"An outstanding update."
